
Born in Winsted on November 10, 1932, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Garafalo) Bosco. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict stationed in Tacoma, WA.
He was an accountant for the former CT National Bank, retired from Capitol Paving and was employed by Kensington Furniture Co. where he worked for 45 years.
Joseph was an avid bowler in the Wednesday morning league at Banner Bowl. He was also an excellent dancer and gave lessons at the Arthur Murray School of Dance. He was always an upbeat person always positive and pleasant to everyone.
Besides his wife of over 45 years, he is survived by a daughter Georgiann and her husband Tim Gallagher of Marion, his cherished grandson Sean Gallagher, 2 sisters Rose DiNatale and Mary Bosco of Winsted, a brother Bart Bosco all of Winsted, several nieces, nephews and close friends.
The Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Dominic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday 3-6 p.m.
The family would like to thank the staff at Southington Care Center, and the ICU staff at Bradley Memorial for their loving care.
