Joseph S. Labrie

He was born in Frenchville , ME, the son of the late Magloire and Edith (Madore) Labrie. Joseph was employed by TRW in Plainville for many years and later retired from the Southington School System.

He is survived by his children, Mark and wife Becky Labrie of AZ, Matthew Labrie of New Britain, Elizabeth and husband Ron Gosse of Colchester, Janet Govea of E. Hartford, Sylvia, Patricia and Kathleen Labrie all of Southington, 4 grandchildren Eric Gosse and fiance Nancy Akers, Sarah Gosse, Ryan Hua and Will Hua, 2 great grandchildren, Teri-Lynn and Hunter Bailey, a sister Anita Ayotte, brothers John, Patrick and Luc.

He was predeceased by a daughter Claudia Labrie, brothers Roland and Gilman, sisters Simone and Mariange Gagnon and Theresa Bissonnett.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Sept.25th at 10 am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St.
