

Joseph James Sabadosa Jr., 87, of Southington, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, at the Southington Care Center. He was born on January 2, 1939, in Southington, to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Mongillo) Sabadosa.
Joseph was the loving husband of the late Nancy (Langlois) Sabadosa, with whom he shared many years of love and laughter, devotion and memories. Together, they raised three sons: Craig Sabadosa and his wife Lauren, Douglas Sabadosa and his fiancé Donna, and Glenn Sabadosa and his wife Virginia. He also leaves his grandchildren: Alex, Joseph, Justin, Natalie, Abigail, and Morgan; along with a great-granddaughter, Indigo.
Joseph dedicated more than 42 years to The Hartford Insurance Group, where he retired as a Manager of Financial Services, leaving behind a career defined by professionalism and integrity.
He had many hobbies and interests that brought him immense joy throughout his life. Joseph enjoyed playing tennis and basketball, and took great pride in coaching his children in soccer during their younger years. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding his motorcycle, and working in his vegetable garden. Joseph cherished his family vacations in Myrtle Beach and Lake George, where many memories were made. A classy, traditional, and truly old-school man, Joe was devoted to his routines and the simple pleasures of everyday life.
Above all, Joseph valued the activities, traditions, and moments that brought his family together and made life meaningful.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Joyce.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the Sabadosa family.
