June Marie Lagueux

June Marie Lagueux, born on September 4, 1935, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 90 at Midstate Medical Center. She was surrounded by her loving family. June was a resident of Southington. She was born in Hartford, a daughter to the late Ernesto Carpenter and Mildred (Cook). June was the wife of the late Joseph Lagueux Jr.

She was a loving a devoted wife and mother. For many years she took care of her family and household. She was a sweetheart to her husband and was always kind and good to her family.

June loved cats and would make sure all the cats in her neighborhood; domesticated and feral, would be loved and cared for.

June will be dearly missed by her sons, Joseph Lagueux III, and his companion Cheryl Leahy of Southington, Richard Lagueux and his companion Lynn Marcantonio of Plainville, grandchildren Stephan and Elizabeth, great grandchildren Matthew, Ashleey and Breanna, sister-in-law Irene Scott, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Jr., sisters Molly Rolka, Shirley Kelly and brother Ralph Carpenter.

June will be laid to rest along her husband in CT State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
