Kathleen Flannery

Born Oct. 20, 1946 in Middletown, she was the daughter of Agnes (Markey) Moore of Middletown and the late Clifford C. Moore.

Kathleen was very active with the Girl Scouts as a Leader and a Service Unit Manager for the Meriden area. She was a partner of Kelly Travel Services in Springfield, MA. She was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church. Kathleen loved spending time with her family.

Besides her mother and husband she leaves her daughter Erin Flannery Kelly and husband John of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Emma Agnes Kelly and Ryan Christian Kelly; two brothers Clifford Moore and wife Carol of Seattle, WA and William Moore and wife Betsy of Houston, TX; a sister-in-law, Patricia Scanlon Levenworth and husband Phil of Mt. Horbe, WI and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, CT Chapter, 35 Cold Spring Rd., Suite 411, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3166.
