Born and raised in Mamaroneck, NY, Kathleen was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Antoinette (Rickickie) Russell. She was the beloved sister of Veronica Marshall, Thomas “Corky” Russell, and sister-in-law Suzie.
Kathleen shared a beautiful life with her soulmate and husband, the late Ronald Lindsay, and was a devoted mother to her son, Jack Lindsay, and daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Albert Jagodzinski. Her love also extended to countless Fur Babies over the years, each one held close to her heart.
She was adored by her many nieces and nephews: Martha and Phil Bujak, Kelly Mallon, Lisa McDonough, Peter and Wendy Moen, Tammy Russell, Scottie and Jill Russell, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who brought joy to her life.
Kathleen earned a Master’s Degree in Anthropology and had a lifelong love for learning and discovery. She found great joy in archaeological digs, hiking, music, singing, reading, and creating arts and crafts. Her passion extended to the care and humane treatment of all animals — a cause she supported deeply and advocated for passionately.
Above all, Kathleen was a woman of deep faith. Her strong devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, guided her throughout her life. We find comfort in knowing she has now peacefully joined Him in Heaven, reunited with loved ones and surrounded by eternal love and light.
Kathleen’s gentle spirit, sharp intellect, and compassionate heart touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Services for Kathleen will be privately held with her family.
