Larry Lewis Brassell, 69, of Southington, passed away on Sunday, January 17th, 2021, and was the beloved partner of nearly 30 years to E.C. Robinson III. He departed life having touched the lives and bringing immeasurable joy, laughter and compassion to countless unknown people—immediate friends, all.
He joins his mother Marie Maria Paglia née Rizzollo, his sister Susan Marie Gordon née Swarris, and his nephew, William Scott Gordon.
Larry is lifted up by his sister Bobbie Niccolucci and her husband Dan Niccolucci, nieces Dawn Shearman née Niccolucci (her children Zack and Sophie), Christine Marie Gordon and Denise Barnes née Niccolucci (and her husband Dr. C. Ryan Barnes and their children, Lillian and Lucy Barnes).
In life, Larry worked as a restaurant manager at Nadine's in Manhattan and briefly as a fashion designer for Yves St. Laurent.
He loved nature, birds and trees, textures, color, sun and moon light. He was kind and full of wit and wonder. He was alive and beautiful. He made people feel unique, valued and irreplaceable.
He was adored and we will miss him.
