
Laura was born on January 26, 1964 in Bridgeport, and was the daughter of the late Ralph P. and Lenora (Scalzi) Esposito III.
Besides her devoted husband and friend David of 22 years she is survived by two sons Anthony Allen Stakey age 18 and Nick Andrew Stakey age 14 both of Southington a brother Guy F. Esposito and his wife Jacquelyn (Perry) and their daughter Halee of Plantsville, and her aunt and uncle, Rosemarie and Robert Neunherz of Salem, NC. Left behind also is her best friend of 30 years Mrs. Karen Parks. Words cannot express the depths of her thanks for Karen's constant friendship and for Karen to remember that she loved her with all her heart and soul.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Ralph P. Esposito IV in 1985.
Mrs. Stakey also wanted to thank her friend Christy Markar saying "In Chris she always knew she made the right choice". Thanks to David's family, brother Jimmy and wife Penny along with Dave's mom Marilyn Francis. Also thanks for the love, support and prayers of Dave's dad and Donna.
Laura was treated with care and respect by Dr. Byrne and his staff Mark, Vicki and Jane of the Cancer Center of Central Connecticut.
The Stakey and Esposito families would like to thank the visiting nurses and the staff at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in Southington for their care and compassion for Laura and her family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 22, 2007 at 10AM at The Zion Lutheran Church 531 Woodruff St., Southington. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington are in charge of arrangements.
