

He was born on June 23, 1933 in Fort Kent, ME and was the son of the late Ludger and Amelia (Lafferier) Boucher. Leon was the third eldest of 14 children, with brothers Emile, Eddie, Leonard, Louis, Roger, Donald, Wallace, Dalton, Robert, Wilmer and Maurice and sisters Anita Stella and Rita Hebert
He was the owner of Brisk Concrete Foundation, Inc. a very successful foundation company for over 57 years. He loved to fish, hunt, garden (which he was very proud of) and enjoyed playing cards with his friends.
In addition to his wife he leaves his son Michael Clifford Boucher and his wife Anthey of Southington, his daughter Lisa Adele Boucher-Jones and her husband, Christopher of Natick, MA; his grandchildren, Michelle Boucher-D’Agostino, Robert Boucher, Amy Boucher Conti and her fiancé Mike Flagge, Tyler Boucher, David Presutti and Katherine Presutti; great grandsons, Andrew D’Agostino, Nicholas M. Conti and Joseph Conti, numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and his great friends Ray Raymond and Nick Conti. He was predeceased by his son, James “Jimmy” Boucher and 8 brothers.
The Boucher family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the hospice staff at Bristol Hospital Homecare and Hospice and especially to his nurse, Jenny, for her wonderful care and concern.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 8:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington for a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
