Lester Makowski

Lester was born on January 31, 1946, in Germany and was the son of the late Zygmont and Zenobia Makowski. He was also predeceased by his step-dad Stanley Jordan who help to raise him.

Lester served in the US army during the Vietnam war. He was employed by Peck Spring/MWI industries in Plainville for 38 years.

Besides his wife he is survived by he is survived by his children Jason Makowski and his wife Amber of MD, and Heather Makowski of Southington, 4 grandchildren Lillian, Lucas, Elijah and Emmeline along with his niece Diane Kane of Willington CT, and many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 6 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Visitation will be from 4 pm until the time of the service.
