Loreen Markie, 75, of Southington, passed away peacefully at Southington Care Center on December 22, 2020. Loreen was born on July 25, 1945 in New Britain, a daughter of Alphonse Pasqual and Jean (Tomczewski). She was employed for many years as an executive secretary at New Britain General Hospital and later at Barnes Group. Loreen is survived by her mother Jean (Tomczewski) Pasqual, sister Linda Dudac and her husband John all of Southington, nephews Robert Michalak and his with Martha, Marc Michalak and his wife Meghann, Michael Michalak and his wife Crystal, John Dudac and his wife Cindy, niece Kristyne Labrie and her husband Michael, several grand nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her friends Carol Duksa and Joyce Gernhard and her caregiver and companion Anna Szclagowska. She is predeceased by her father Alphonse Pasqual and partner for several years David S. Charamut. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Loreen was our neighbor for over 40 years. We were so lucky to have her next door because she was simply the best!. She always had a smile and a story to tell. . Our condolences to her sister, Linda and Mom and entire family.

Loreen & I were good friends back @ New Britain High School. We talked over the years, but time & family prevented us from being together. So sorry for your loss. We had many laughs & memories over the years. May she rest in peace. My sincerest sympathy to the family.
