Loretta Desjardins

     Born in Waterbury on January 13, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Despres) Trepanier. Mrs. Desjardins was a retired employee of Mark Eyelet in Wolcott. She enjoyed swimming, bowling, line dancing, making puzzles and was an avid UCONN Huskies basketball fan.

Mrs. Desjardins is survived by her seven children,

Donald and his wife Susan Desjardins of Southington,

Raymond and his wife Paulette Desjardins,

Theresa and her husband Vito Santarsiero all of Wolcott,

Peter and his wife Patricia Desjardins of Brewster, MA,

Joan and her husband Kenneth Benson of Southbury,

Alice and her husband David Valentine of Plantsville,

Christine and her husband Thomas Troiani of Clearwater, FL.

She also leaves twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and was

predeceased by a sister and a brother.

Funeral will be Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 9 AM from DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, to St. Pius X Church for a mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours are Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM.
