Lori-Ann Ferreira

Lori-Ann Ferreira, 57, of Southington, peacefully entered eternal rest, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Our cherished Earth Angel is now a Heavenly Angel, forever watching over those who loved her.

Born on April 10, 1969, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Lori-Ann was the beloved daughter of David and Cynthia (Borges) Ferreira of Southington. She touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A loving and compassionate person, Lori-Ann found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. She was actively involved with the Southington Community Cultural Arts Center (SoCCA) and The Arc of Southington, where she enjoyed participating in programs and activities that fostered friendship, creativity, and community connection. She was also a treasured member of the Calendar House "Granny Squares," a knitting and crocheting group dedicated to helping others in the community. Every handmade item she created was crafted with love and generously donated to those in need. Through her creativity and kindness, her legacy will continue to warm the hearts of many.

Lori-Ann loved cheering for the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, spending time shopping, and listening to the music of Ozzy Osbourne. Her vibrant personality and enthusiasm for the things she loved were contagious to everyone around her. She especially treasured her visits to Tiverton, Rhode Island, where she spent precious time with her Aunt Linda and beloved cousins. These special trips, enjoyed several times each year, created memories she held close to her heart.

In addition to her parents, David and Cynthia Ferreira of Southington, Lori-Ann leaves behind her devoted brother, Derek Ferreira and his wife, Melissa, of Fort Myers, Florida; her cherished nieces and nephews, Jenna, Luke, Eddie, and Analea; her beloved dog, Olly; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Lori-Ann's memory to the Southington Community Cultural Arts Center (SoCCA) or The Arc of Southington, two organizations that brought her great joy through friendship, creativity, and community involvement.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m.
