Lori Jean Cole

Born in Derby on February 9, 1962, she was the daughter of Joseph Motel of Shelton and the late Gayle (Starchak) Motel. She graduated from Seymour High School and was employed as a clerical assistant and bookkeeper.

Lori was a very warm and kind person who loved animals. She was a member of The Wolcott Christian Life Center where she met several friends including Tom Chesnius, Pastor Bob and his wife Sandra Rulewicz.

In addition to her father and friends at the church, Lori is survived by a brother Joseph Motel of Wolcott, an aunt Carol Gilfoid of MA, and several cousins. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by a brother Larry Motel.

            A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1 PM at The Wolcott Christian Life Center 481 Wolcott Rd. in Wolcott. Guests are also invited to a dinner following the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Wolcott is assisting with Lori’s arrangements.
