Lori Ellen Faust-Newman

She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., the daughter of the late Joseph Faust and Joan (Henry) Faust.

Lori graduated from Western Connecticut State University and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She worked at the Cheshire Post Office for 11 years and that was where she met Ron 37 years ago, both starting the same day. For the past 19.5 years she has been a dedicated team member at the Meriden Target.

Lori loved her family, friends, music, and learning new crafts. She appreciated all of nature’s details and loved spending time outside camping, walking, gardening, or flying kites. She created holiday magic as often as possible to bring joy to others. She was a Black Belt 3rd Dan in Tang Soo Do.

In addition to her husband, she leaves 3 sons Robert Newman and fiancée Mary Buchanan of Plantsville, Eric Newman and spouse Codi of Middletown and Andy Newman of Plantsville; 2 daughters Amanda Vincent and husband Adam and Samantha Newman and fiancé Andy Gesner, 1 granddaughter Andrea Vincent, a brother Joseph Faust and wife Helen of Terryville, a sister Donna Faust and a nephew Christopher Faust.

Her family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4-8pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 3pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 145 Main St. Southington, CT 06489. Those wishing to attend the church service are asked to gather directly at the church.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
