Lucille Marie Quirion

Lucille “Lucy” Marie (Guerrette) Quirion, 79, formerly a long-time resident of Southington passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Lucille was born in Hartford, CT on September 16, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Alphie and Mathilda (Gagnon) Guerrette.

Lucille cared deeply for the people around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Memere), aunt, and friend. She was a beautiful, warm, and kind person with a smile so stunning it would light up the whole room. Lucille always had a camera in her hands and never missed an opportunity at family events to capture precious memories. She was an avid bowler, artistic, and loved to cross stitch and draw. An animal lover, she was loyal to and loved numerous dogs the family had over the years. Lucille loved attending fairs, spending time with family in Canada, and playing with her grandchildren at the beach. Lucille was never short on love and was most fulfilled when surrounded by family.

She is survived by her three children, Tina Quirion and wife Suzanne Dahlberg of Madison, Richard Quirion and wife Allison of Webster, MA and Jude Quirion and wife Vicki of Port St. Lucie, FL; a sister Christine Messier and husband Uldric of Farmington; and her cherished grandchildren, Luke and Jack Quirion, Hannah and Emily Dahlberg, Timothy Sixberry, Kayla Battle and 5 great-grandchildren. Lucille was predeceased by the love her life Marcel Quirion and her granddaughter Monica Battle.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Dominic, 1050 Flanders Rd, Southington, followed by burial at Mt.
