Lucille B. Tuttle

Born in Waterbury on March 10, 1929, she was one of the fourteen children of the late Henry and Leonise Rose (Lagasse) Beausoleil. She graduated from Waterbury Catholic High School. She retired in 1991 from Catholic Family Services in Waterbury where she worked for many years.

?Lucy? was completely devoted to her entire family and was famous for meticulous record keeping of family events and information. She was a member of the family?s Tuesday Sewing Club and enjoyed quilting. After many years of convincing she finally became a fan of the Boston Red Sox. She has been a Wolcott resident since 1953 and a parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Church.

Besides her husband of 63 years, she is survived by her children George Jr. and his wife Madonna Tuttle of Terryville, Donna Recor, James and his wife Colleen Tuttle all of Wolcott, Richard and his wife Ruby Tuttle of North Kingstown, RI, a brother Roger and his wife Joan Beausoleil of Meriden, a sister Bertha ?Bert? and her husband Lenny Morelli of Waterbury. She will also be deeply missed by her ten grandchildren, Nathan and his wife Rebecca Tuttle of Farmington, Jordan Tuttle of Meriden, Liza Tuttle of Richmond, VA, George Recor of Plainville, Gina and her husband Bruce Jones of Oroville,CA, Lindsay and her husband Carlos Neto of Harwinton, Brittany and her husband Steve Mirto of Wolcott, Mac Tuttle of Wolcott, Rachel Tuttle of Derry, NH, Riley Tuttle of N. Kingstown, RI, and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Lillian Tuttle. She was predeceased by her eleven siblings, Henry, George, Marie, Louis, Cecile, Phillippe, Clarice, Leonise, Gerard, Leon and Albert.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott to St. Maria Goretti Church for Mass at 9:30. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
