

She was born December 1, 1941 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Lewis) Meyers.
Beth graduated from William H. Hall High School in 1959. She worked at Sikorsky Aircraft and retired from Northeast Utilities (Yankee Gas) after ten years of service. She was an accomplished and self-taught artist spending hours working with oil and pastel portraits and doing a variety of arts and crafts. Beth had a passion for life and lived without regret devoting all she was to her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her six children, Sherri LaRose and her husband James, Candee’ DeFeo and her husband Michael, Joseph J. Chomic II, Jennifer Cook and her husband Gregory, Christine Marek and her husband David, Cindy Dudac and her husband John.
An important part of her life was her fifteen grandchildren, Stephanie (LaRose) Carrion and Alicia LaRose, Samantha, Nicholas, Jared and Michael DeFeo, Matthew, Emma and Chase Cook, Cole, Makenzie, Max and Reese Marek, and Carley and Gavin Dudac.
She is also survived by a sister Cora Morse and her husband Timothy Morse and a brother Duane Meyers and his wife Jane Meyers along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10 am at the First Congregational Church, 37 Main St. Southington. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
