Margaret Fischer

Margaret was born on Nov. 7, 1923 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Martin and Rachel Johnson. She was married to the late Erwin F. Fischer on January 1, 1943 and for most of their married life, they lived in Southington.

She retired from the Bradley Home in Meriden where she worked as a dedicated CNA for the elderly for over 35 years.

She is survived by nine children, Raymond, Alan and Michael all of Southington and Gary of Manchester; Elaine Vontell and husband Robert of Terryville, Sandra Mooney and husband Richard of East Hampton, Linda Potter and husband Charles of N. Guilford, Diane Fischer and her partner Linda Mastrianni of Colchester and Janice Roe and husband David of Terryville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Stephen Potter.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with the arrangements.
