Margaret E. Picone

She was born in Southington on June 8, 1926, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Homnack) Zajac. Mrs. Picone retired from Supreme Lake. She along with her husband Alfred enjoyed many great trips in their retirement. She adored her cat Sybil and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara and husband Phillip MacDowell of Southington, her son David and wife Sandra Picone of Plantsville, her cherished grandchildren, Donna and husband James Hilliard, Scott MacDowell and husband Michael Cady, Colleen Picone, Marcy and husband Christopher Kelly, her great-grandchildren Taylor, Ethan and Joshua Hilliard, Nicholas Kelly and Aviyana Picone also several nieces, nephews and many friends

The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10 am. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-7 pm
