Marie Ravenscroft

Born Feb. 24, 1916 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Albina (Beausoleil) LeBlanc.

Marie was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church and Our Lady of Grace in Bantam. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and was an avid baker.

She is survived by her children, Ronald John Ravenscroft and wife Sandra of AZ, Cheryl Reddy and husband Dr. Thomas G. of NC and Melissa Cop and husband Anthony of Southington; a brother Raymond LeBlanc of Waterbury; nine grandchildren, Brooks and Bradley Ravenscroft, Cortney Anderson-Sanford, Tom Reddy, Karyn Armstrong and Kathleen Tozier, Jonathan, Stephen and Gregory Cop; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by five siblings.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 715 Bantam Road, Bantam for a mass. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
