Mariusz Frankowski

Born in Poland on July 12, 1978, the son of Alfreda (Zieba) Frankowski of AZ and the late Jan Frankowski. He was a 1997 graduate of Wolcott High School and a 2001 graduate of Post University in Waterbury. Over the past several years he played an instrumental role in the success of the New Britain Soccer club Falcon Polonia.

Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two brothers, Tomasz Frankowski and his wife Evona and niece Sara of Phoenix, AZ and Rev. Miroslaw Frankowski Schr. Of Toronto, Canada. His mother and father-in-law Dr. Mark and Beverly Peterson of Southington, his brother-in-law Ryan Peterson and sister-in-law Kristen Peterson.

The funeral will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church located at 158 Broad St. New Britain, Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 612 East Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127
