Mary Ann Mariani

Mary Ann Mariani, age 70, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026 at VITAS Hospice in Waterbury, CT after a brief illness. Born in Southington on January 30, 1956, to the late Arnold Mariani and Vittoria (Palazzo) Corley.

She will be remembered for a gentle presence that brought quiet comfort to those around her, and for the simple joys she embraced with steady warmth. Mary Ann loved oldies music, and she especially enjoyed taking road trips—singing along as the miles passed. She also found happiness in coloring and crafting, pastimes that reflected her calm spirit and appreciation for life’s smaller, meaningful moments.

Mary Ann is survived by her siblings, Arnold Mariani, Cynthia Basile, Joseph Mariani, Paul Mariani, Domenic Mariani, Tammie King, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Arnold Mariani and Vittoria (Palazzo) Corley and her brother Thomas Mariani.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours. She will be laid to rest beside her mother at St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington.
