Mary M. Rich

She was the wife of 63 years to the late Edward J. Rich, Sr.

Born in Southington on April 18, 1921 the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Caterina (D'Angelo) Martino. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Alsop Engineering for 16 years.

She is survived by a daughter Rosalyn and her husband Lewis Banning, grandchildren, Tara and Jeff Cyr, Tracey Rich, Lewis Banning III and his fiancÚe Donna, two great grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan Cyr, daughter-in-law, Rosalie Rich, a step grand daughter Barrilynn Yother and her family, special in-laws, Bettye and Stella Martin, Elizabeth Michaud, Joseph and Ceil Rich and Carmeline Riccio and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Edward J. Rich, Jr. and his wife Nancy, a sister, Rose , five brothers, John, Carmen, James, Frank and Anthony.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to Mary Our Queen Church at 11:00 a.m. for a mass. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday (TODAY) from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Central CT., 56 W. Main St., Plainville, CT 06062.
