Mary T. Ruscz

Born in Waterbury on January 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Chmielewski) Kolakoski. She was a member of the Waterville Community Club, an avid Bingo player and a former parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.

Mary is survived by two sons Martin and his wife Marianne Ruscz of Wolcott, Robert M. and his wife Mary Ruscz of Plainville, a daughter-in-law Judith Ruscz of Waterbury, 7 grandchildren Kimberly Maffia, Deborah Zambiella, Robert H. Ruscz, Michael Ruscz, Lisa Ruscz, Daniel Ruscz and Cassie Ruscz, and a great granddaughter Arianna Christen. Besides her husband, She was predeceased by a son Henry Ruscz, two brothers Fran and Michael Kolakoski and a sister Helen Nowacki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday March 11, 2009 at St. Pius X Church in Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hour will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott.
