

Born November 19, 1917 in Southington she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose
(Audi) D?Agostino.
Mary was a stay at home wife and mother who enjoyed making fried peppers and homemade meatballs for Serafino?s Pharmacy which she co-owned with her husband James. She was a wonderful cook and baker and was known
for her pepper biscuits, angel wings and white cookies she made for many family weddings and functions.
She loved to bake with her grandchildren.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Mary is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Maryann and Donald Ouellette of Southington, with whom she made her home, a brother Anthony D?Agostino and wife Lucille of Southington; two sisters, Josephine Forcella of Plainville and Palma Nardi of Southington; three grandchildren, Gregg Ouellette and wife Claudia, Amber Ouellette and Brent Ouellette and wife Stacey; a great granddaughter Brianna; two sisters-in-law, Annette and Emily D?Agostino and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Anthony ?Skip? Serafino and five brothers, Angelo D?Agostino and wife Mary, Arthur D?Agostino and wife Anna, Patrick D?Agostino and wife Agnes, Michael and Philip D?Agostino.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Babiarz for his compassion in caring for Mary as well as Sister Jilda of the Franciscan Life Center, for her gentleness and devoted care.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the
DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Dominic Church,
1050 Flanders Rd., Southington for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m.
