Michael Robert Belas

He was born October 8, 1918 in New Britain, son of the late Charles and Helen (Kereliza) Belas. He retired from GE of Plainville and was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S.Army. Mr. Belas was a parishioner of St. Mary?s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in New Britain .He was an avid golfer and was often seen at Southington Country Club.

Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, David Allen Belas and his wife Lorraine of Southington and Michael Robert Belas Jr. of Catonsville, MD, a sister Ann Sencio of E. Berlin, 2 grandchildren, Stephanie M. Belas and David Allen Beles Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brotherStephen M. Belas.

The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m at St. Mary?s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Winter St. New Britain. Burial with Military honors will be in St. Mary?s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. ? 10:30 a.m. at the Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
