Michael Forcella

He was the husband of the late Mary (Tonnotti) Forcella.

He was born May 8, 1927 in Italy, son of the late Filipo and Sophia (Pulcini) Forcella.

He was the owner of Michael Forcella Sr. Concrete Work and took great pride in his work.

Michael loved to cook, take care of his vegetable and flower gardens, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.

He is survived by a daughter Diana DeJesus and husband Raymond of Plainville and a son Michael A. Forcella Jr., 2 sisters Graziella Ettore and Giannina Faiazza both of Plainville, 7 grandchildren including Andrew and Christina DeJesus.

He was predeceased by brothers Tomasso and Ermanno Forcella.

His family would like to thank the nurses and staff of C5 at HCC at New Britain Hospital for all their care given to Michael.

The Funeral will be held Monday 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
