Born in Rutland, VT on August 12, 1958, he was the son of Albert R. Yell of Malta, NY and Arlene (Hadley) Yell of Southington. Michael attended Southington High School, and was later employed by Chuck & Eddie’s, where he worked for over 30 years. Michael was an avid motorcyclist, and hot rod enthusiast.
Besides his parents Mike is survived by a son Cody Yell of Bristol, a sister Karen and her husband Kevin McCarthy of Southington, niece Morgan McCarthy, Nephew Brendan McCarthy, a godson Brandon Janelle, and many aunts uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 8 am until 12 pm at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St, Southington, followed by a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery.
