Michelina Caiazzo Martone

Michelina (Caiazzo)Martone, 85 of Meriden, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 20, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Her life was lived and fulfilled by her love of family. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanislao Martone, the family finds comfort in knowing that they will now live in eternal peace together.

Michelina is survived by her daughter Maria Neve Picone and her husband Angelo of Meriden; her son Eduardo Martone and his wife Rosa of Southington; grandchildren Michelle Graves and her husband David, Stanley Martone and his wife Alexa, Francesco Picone and his wife Stephanie, Michael Picone, Daniel Picone, Nicholas Martone; and great-grandchildren Gavianna, Luca & Gianna Graves & Joseph Martone. Michelina also leaves behind two brothers, Giulio & Antonio and sister, Anna in Italy. She was predeceased by her sister Annunziata Caiazzo.

Michelina was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her soul rest in peace and may her memories bring comfort to those she left behind during this difficult time. Her family would like to thank the hospice nurses, Susan and Melanie and aides, Leda, Nancy and Sally for their care and compassion they gave to their mother.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church Parish at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. Calling hours will be prior to the Mass from 8:45 – 10:15 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
