Muriel (Kahn) Angelillo, age 95, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Autumn Lake Healthcare in New Britain. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank R. Angelillo.
Born on November 20, 1929, in Mt. Vernon, New York, Muriel was the daughter of the late Elias and Rachel (Jakacobs) Kahn. A dedicated professional, she worked for many years as a legal secretary with the Hartford law firm of Gordon, Muir & Foley before retiring.
Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Thomas Angelillo of Plantsville and Raymond “Randy” Angelillo and his wife Jennifer of Hawaii; three cherished granddaughters, Rachel, Melanie, and Lisa; and four adored great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Muriel was predeceased by her sister, Harriet Buschgans.
In honoring Muriel’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately with her family. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Frank at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill.
