

She was born Oct. 29, 1930 in Pembroke, ME the daughter of the late Philip and Gladys (Wilbur) Hersey. She had retired from Stanley Tools after 25 years and also worked at the McCully Convalescent Home currently the Summit of Plantsville. She was an avid bingo player, loved to play setback and was well known for making “Christmas fudge” and giving it out at Christmas time.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son Paul and his wife Maureen Mazzaccaro of Southington and a daughter Pamela and her husband Paul Hudson of Felton, DE, two sisters Phyllis Ferguson of FL and Marjorie Rice of Wallingford, four grandchildren, Laura Hudson, Ron Hudson, David Mazzaccaro and his wife Jessica and Jennifer Lamontagne and her husband Steven, seven great grandchildren Daniel, Paige, Leah, Tyler, Eric, Calla, and Carleigh along with two great great grandchildren Max and Weston, two godchildren Bill and Ned and several nieces, nephews, along with her cat Cookie. She was predeceased by a brother Aubrey Hersey. Services and burial for Norma will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.
