Nunzio Vito Pisani

He was born in Avigliano, Basilicata, Italy on June 15, 1957 to the late Carmine Pisani and Angela (Guerra) Pisani. He is survived by his loving wife Jane, his daughter Nora Pisani of Waterbury, his son Andrew Pisani, of Meriden, and his stepson Christopher Lima, of Southington. Nonno to Alora Lima of Boston, MA, Christian Lima of Milford, Alyssa Lima and Zakk Lima of Southington. He also leaves behind his brother Renato Pisani (Donna), his sister Ann Miklinevich (Joe), both of Wolcott, his sister Elvira Tuttle of Waterbury, and his brother Tony Pisani (Patti) of Wolcott. He is predeceased by his brother Robert Pisani. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews.

Nunzio graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, CT. He performed on stage in minstrels there, was voted Heart of the Heart, and would often show off by reciting the Hail Mary in Latin at family gatherings. Nunzio was an avid golfer and could be seen many mornings out on the golf course perfecting his swing. He was proud of the fact that he shot 3 hole in ones. He and his wife Jane enjoyed traveling. He cherished their trips to Europe, especially to visit family in Italy. Nunzio loved to cook and spent many a night watching cooking shows to learn new techniques. He also enjoyed making homemade sausage, pickling eggplant and making pasta.

The family would like to thank the many, doctors, nurses and hospital personnel that assisted in his care. Visiting hours will take place from 4-7 on November 7, 2025, at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at The Church of St. Dominic at 11:00 am on Saturday November 8. All are asked to gather directly at the church. Interment will be private.
