Omer "Bee" Martin

He was born on May 12, 1938 in St. Agatha, ME son of the late Albert and Amanda (Martin) Martin.

Prior to "Bee's" retirement, he was a Pipe Jacker for Caron Pipe Jacking in Berlin. He was an avid UCONN, Red Sox, and Patriots fan. He loved his lottery scratch tickets. His 7 am coffee crew will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his daughters Paula Martin and Deanna Martin both of New Britain, 2 brothers Richard Martin and Jean Martin both of Southington, 3 sisters, Evangeline Thibault of New Britain, Viola Wilkens of Southington, and Corrine Munson of Newington, his former wife Arlene Martin, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bee was predeceased by 3 brothers, Conrad, Reginald, and Onias Martin.

The family would like to thank Gail Ford, Dr. Hosmer & Staff, and Hartford Health Care for all their excellent care and concern.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday March 24 at 9:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. for a 10 am Mass at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington. Calling hours are on Monday from 5-8 pm. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
