

Patricia (Dudukovich) DeLuco, 88, beloved wife of James R. DeLuco passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday at The Summit at Plantsville after battling Parkinson?s disease for over 30 years.
She was born in Johnstown, PA on July 12, 1924 daughter of the late Rados and Stanka (Matijevich) Dudukovich. She met and married her husband James ?later in life? and her new large family adored her right from the start. Her husband said that she had ?charisma galore? and that she was always the life of the party as she entertained everyone with her singing and dancing. They traveled extensively and worldwide. Together they owned and operated a traveling jewelry company called DeLuco Rings.
Besides her devoted husband of 44 years, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers: Michael, Nicholas, Nina, George and Dushan, and four sisters Anna Chiara, Caroline Hojak, Stella Alwine, and Dorothy Sikirica.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday July 9 at Mary Our Queen Church 248 Savage St. in Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 til 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington.
