

Patricia A. (Thayer) Morelli, 90, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Morelli.
Born in New Britain on March 24, 1936, Patricia was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Pipkin) Thayer. A lifelong resident of Southington, she attended local schools and was a devoted parishioner of the former St. Thomas Church.
Patricia was a woman of remarkable strength, courage, and resilience. Throughout her life, she faced many challenges, including surviving two broken hips, breast cancer, and lung cancer, yet she met each obstacle with determination and grace. Her family was always her greatest priority, and she was a constant source of love, support, and encouragement to those around her.
Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching the Game Show Network and enthusiastically calling out answers to contestants on television. She was also an avid fan of Hallmark movies, soap operas, and keeping up with the daily news. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed coloring and diamond painting. Above all, Patricia cherished spending quality time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She will be remembered for her strength, compassion, courage, and unwavering love for those she held dear.
Patricia is survived by her son, Glenn Morelli of Southington; her daughter, Lynn Morelli of Southington; her sister, Marcella Thayer of Southington; six grandchildren, Nicholas Morelli, Michael Morelli, Brittany Nazario, Vanessa Nazario, Matthew (Nicole) Nappe, and Marissa Nappe; and six great-grandchildren, Madison Luponio, Gavin Landry, William Landry, Lillianna Nazario, Carson Nappe, and River Nappe. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph Morelli.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Saint Thomas Cemetery, Meriden Avenue, Southington.
