

Paul J. Chamberland, 90, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the HOCC at New Britain General. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma M. (Picard) Chamberland.
Born on September 10, 1934 in Drummond, New Brunswick, CA, a son of the late Wilfred and Marthe (Caron) Chamberland. Paul was a longtime resident of Southington and retired from the Balf Co. He had a deep love for his family and was known for his kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit. Throughout his life, Paul worked diligently and found joy in the simpler things, including listening to country music, watching cowboy and western movies and spending time with his family in Maine and Canada. But most of all he was known for his daily walks waving to the many people that knew him especially the children at Thalberg School. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Paul is survived by his children, Philip Chamberland and Paula McCormack and her husband Peter all of Southington; two brothers, Adrian Chamberland and wife Johanne of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, CA and Leonide Chamberland of FL; two sisters, Rita Soucy of Grand Isle, ME and Noella Chamberland and husband Roland Bernier of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, CA; sister-in-law Rose Chamberland and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Zephirin, Maurice and Richard Chamberland; three sisters, Odette Cassista, Roseanne and Adrienne Chamberland; three brothers-in-law Ronald Soucy, Real Cassista and Louis Godbout; two sisters-in-law Madeleine and Diane Chamberland.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 9 AM at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
