Peter Giordino

passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waterbury on Friday.

Born in New Haven on June 22, 1987, Peter attended Cheshire schools, where he played lacrosse, before moving to Wolcott and graduating from Wolcott High School. He was a licensed insurance agent for Primerica and also worked for Shred-It in Cheshire. Peter enjoyed discussing politics and finance and loved spending time with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephew. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and light hearted spirit.

Besides his parents of Wolcott, he is survived by a brother Christopher Giordino and his wife Anna Chenoweth of Arlington, VA, a sister Michelle and her husband Stephen Luba of Torrington, two nieces Kaitlyn and Nicole Luba, and a nephew Christopher Giordino.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday at St. Maria Gorretti Church, 1300 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott.
