Peter Francis Mazzone

Peter Francis Mazzone, 53, of Southington, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026 at The Hospital of Central CT Bradley Campus. He was born on October 6, 1972, in Bristol, Connecticut, to the late Matthew and Maryanne (Nicoletti) Mazzone.

Pete was the beloved husband of Stephanie (Jaeger) Mazzone, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage. A devoted family man, Pete was a loving father to his three cherished daughters, Kayden, Madison, and Emerson Mazzone, who were the pride and joy of his life.

Peter worked for many years as a purchasing manager, where he was known for his dedication, knowledge, and strong work ethic. Outside of his professional life, Peter had a passion for music, especially guitars and was known for his humor. He loved playing the guitar, hanging out with his dogs and cheering on the Yankees and Cowboys.

In addition to his wife and daughters, Peter is survived by his sisters, Alicia Prokop and Marissa Mazzone, along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.

A visitation for Peter will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington.

Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery, 209 Belleview Avenue, Southington. All are asked to gather directly at the cemetery for 11:00 a.m.
