

Meriden-Phyllis (Muscatello) Bagnaschi, 76, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Vitas Hospice Care at St. Mary?s Hospital in Waterbury.. She was the wife of the late Edward L. Bagnaschi Sr. for 47 years.
She was born September 20, 1936 in Middletown the daughter of the late Gino Muscatello and Maria Salonia. She had worked for the State Police and retired from Clark Bros. Bolt Co. She had volunteered at Mid-State Hospital for many years and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Meriden.
She is survived by her loving children, a daughter, Elisa DellaVecchia of West Hartford, Edward L. Bagnaschi Jr. and his wife Bernice of Sierra Vista, AZ, her cherished grandson, Edward Bagnaschi III and his wife Jenny, her step granddaughters, Michelle Giddens and Jessica Sansoucie, several great grandchildren, Eva, Jewel, Ethan and Cameron. She also leaves her devoted sister-in-law Ann Knell of Meriden, a step-sister Susan Muscatello, 2 nieces Cindy Simone and Crystal Sullivan and a nephew Gary Knell and 3 great nieces, several aunts and loving cousins.
The Funeral will be held Monday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Meriden. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. Calling hours will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. in Southington.
