Ramon was born in Aquas Buenas, PR, on July 21, 1955 and was the son of Josefina Delgado and the late Ramon Reyes. Ramon was a school teacher at Two Rivers Magnet High School in Hartford, but had also been employed by the Meriden and New Britain School Systems.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children Olga Reyes, Luis Reyes both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Ramon L. Reyes Jr. of Cheshire, along with a brother Jose Manuel Reyes of Puerto Rico. Ramon is also survived by his beloved grandson Cesar Cabrera of FL. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to The Two Rivers Magnet High School c/o the Sports Department, 160 Huyshope Ave. Hartford, Ct. 06106.
