Raymond A. Regan

Born in Waterbury on May 1, 1968, he was the son of Thomas Regan of Waterbury and Alice (St. Mary) of Wolcott. He graduated from Wolcott High School in 1986 and earned an associate’s degree in HVAC at New England Institute of Technology in RI. He was employed by Mattatuck Industrial Scrap Metal in Wolcott. He was also a lifetime member of the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Dept. Company 2.

Ray loved his family, and had a wonderful relationship with his son Colby. He had a big heart and will be missed by the many lives he touched including his dog Abbey. He was a fan of almost all sports, his favorite teams were the NY Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and snowmobiling.

Besides his parents, Ray is survived by his wife Charmayne Regan and son Colby Jerome Regan, his sister Laurie Monroe all of Wolcott, a brother Thomas Regan and his fiancée Cheryl LeMay of Newington, nephews Gary Monroe, Thomas Regan who was also his Godson, nieces Jessica Monroe, Krystle and her husband Stephen Cassidy, a grand niece Briella Cassidy and a grand nephew Stephen Cassidy, and his Goddaughter Hailey Morneault. He was predeceased by a sister Cathryn Farrell.

Calling hours will be Monday, August 24th from 4 to 8 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. His Mass will be on Tuesday at St. Pius X Church 525 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott at 10 AM. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
