Richard A. Ciervo

He was born on May 18, 1932 in Southington the son of the late Domenic and Emma (Apperti) Ciervo. Richard was a U.S Army Veteran of the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was a Draftsman for Superior Electric Co., Center for Engineering and Kratzert and Jones. He had also worked as a driver for E.D.C

He was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church and a member of the church's choir.

He was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giant Fan. He played the Bass and loved Frank Sinatra and Big Band Music.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Richard D. Ciervo of New Britain and his daughter Christine M. Ciervo of Bristol, 3 cherished grandchildren, Emma, Colin and Gryffin , a brother Michael ?Happy? Ciervo of Southington, he also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Pat and daughter-in-law Karen.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Road Southington. There are no calling hours.
