Rita Brett

She was born May 11, 1929 in New Canada Plantation, ME daughter of the late John B. and Catherine (Nadeau) Theriault. She had retired in 1983 from Pratt & Whitney in Southington and had been a parishioner of St. Thomas Church. She had had taught ceramics for 28 years and enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She leaves her 4 grandchildren, Michelle Richards, John Bouchard, Teresa Sorrell, and Raymond Gudat, 6 great grandchildren, Joey and Jessica Richards, Crystal and Sean Sorrell, Kayla and Devin Bouchard and a great-great grandson Jaiden Richards.

She is survived by 5 sisters, Edwina Fournier and her husband Claude, Violia Belanger and her husband Ronaldo, Rena (Thelma) Beliveau and her husband Roger all of Southington, Una Daigle of ME and Lorna Bolduc and her husband Leo of FL, many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Gilbert Bouchard, 3 brothers, Edwin, Norman and Raymond, 2 sisters, Martha and Alfreda.

The funeral will be held Friday 9 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to the Assembly of God Church, 56 Dunham Rd. at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8 p.m.
