Rita M. McDonough

Born October 22, 1918 in Southington, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Rose (Buck) McGrath. Rita was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church, a member of the St. Rita?s Circle Daughter of Isabella, the Southington Grange #25, past Jr. Deputy of the Ct. State Grange, Central Pomona Grange, Southington Women?s Club and the Calendar House.

She is survived by a son Richard McDonough and his wife Tracy of Southington, a daughter Betty Jane Harrington and her husband Roy of E. Hampton; six grandchildren, Patricia Aldersen, Sean, Brian, Erin and Keith McDonough and Alan Harrington, 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, AnnaMae Gill.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
