

Born on July 6, 1943, in New Britain, Connecticut, Roger was the son of the late Alcide and Eva (Perusse) Fillion.
Roger dedicated many years of his career to manufacturing, working for Fafner Ball Bearing and later The Torrington Company. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to providing for his family.
Roger was the devoted husband of the late Maryanne (Jurewitch) Fillion. Together they shared nearly 57 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and lasting memories. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and he was happiest when everyone was together. He loved his children and grandchildren beyond measure and took immense pride in each of them.
Roger is survived by his loving children, Michele Foertsch and her husband, Martin; Dawn Horn; and Gary Fillion. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Foertsch, and Sean and Madison Horn. He is survived by his sister, Doris Rouleau; his nephew, Paul Rouleau; and his niece, Lisa Watkins.
In addition to his wife and parents, Roger was predeceased by his sister, Helen Duquette and son-in-law Michael Horn.
Roger will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his kindness, and the many wonderful memories he created with those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
