Roger J. St. Pierre

TORRINGTON- Roger J. St. Pierre, 84, of Waterbury, beloved husband of Claudette (Violette) St. Pierre died on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Torrington Special Care. Sadly, it was the same day that his son Roger D. St. Pierre was buried in Torrington.

Born in Waterbury on August 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Dolphis and Mary (Capino) St. Pierre. He worked for 28 years at Scovill Manufacturing, 10 years at Southbury Training School, also 18 years at Waterbury Hospital. He and Claudette enjoyed trips to Misquamicut, RI beach and he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.

Besides devoted wife of 47 years, Roger is survived by his children, Donna Marie Cyr of Meriden, David St. Pierre of Maryland, and Derek St. Pierre of Waterbury, Michael St. Pierre of New Hartford and Dennis St. Pierre of Meriden his sister Suzanne Bellemare of Waterbury, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition he will be missed by Claudette’s children Brian Armstrong of Wolcott, Kevin Armstrong of Manchester, CT, Kenneth Armstrong of Waterbury and Valerie Damia of Huntington Beach, CA In addition to his son Roger D., he was predeceased by his brothers Raymond and James St. Pierre.
