
She was born on July 21, 1925 in Plainville, daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Schmidt) Marchetti.
Ginger and her husband were avid antique dealers. They ran their business together, Heritage Antiques. She loved to attend her Plainville High School reunions.
In addition to her husband, Ginger is survived by her sons David Dalfino and wife Judy of Southington and John Dalfino and wife Denise of New Hartfrord, brothers Frank Marchetti of FL and Richard Marchetti and wife Josephine of Plainville, sisters Ann Stasiewski of Farmington, Betty Dinello and her husband John of Southington, Judith Hitchiner and her husband John of Burlington, four grandchildren Dr. James Dalfino and his wife Sue of Shelton, Dr. John Dalfino and his wife Dr. Thea Dalfino of NY, Amy Kennedy and her husband James of New Hartford, and Dan Dalfino of New Hartford, and six great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Hilda Sisti.
The Funeral will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 12 noon at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Calling hours will be on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Glaser & his staff for the love and support they have given to her, and also to the staff at the Southington Care Center for their care.
