Rose Marie Deschesnes

She was born in Waterbury on March 6, 1986. She was a graduate of Kaynor Tech Class of 2004 and attended UCONN Waterbury Branch. Twelve years ago she was injured in a sledding accident and was paralyzed. She remained a faithful Christian and was a member of the Waterbury Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed attending musicals and plays and spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, Rose is survived by three sisters, Melinda Pickering, Tiffany Deschesnes both of Wolcott, Trisha Deschesnes of Waterbury, several aunts and uncles including her godfather John Gursky, three nieces Makayla, Juliana, and Mae’lani, two nephews Vinny Jr. and Daniel, and her paternal grandparents Robert and Frances Deschesnes. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Betty Grenier.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 5 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. Calling hours are Tuesday from 3 to 5 PM.
