Rose C. Mastrianni

Born March 11, 1918 in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (Nadile) Prigitano. Rose was devoted to her entire family and friends and will be missed by them and all who knew and loved her.

Rose is survived by her five children, Dolores Abbatiello, Annette Mastrianni, Janice Alfano and her husband David and David Mastrianni and his wife Nancy all of Southington and Ronald Mastrianni of Meriden; a brother Rocco Prigitano and wife Gloria of Wallingford; four sisters, Margaret Besek and Evelyn Marchetti and husband Guy all of Meriden, Theresa Santossio of Shelton and Sister Maryanna Prigitano of Southington; 8 grandchildren, Sal Abbatiello III and wife Carol, Michael Abbatiello and  wife Paula, Deana Breski, and husband Rich, Jamie Dougherty and husband Dan, David Alfano and Jan, Mark Alfano and wife Janet, Craig Mastrianni, Jill Mastrianni and Brian and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Frank, Anthony and Joseph Prigitano.

The family would like to Thank the nurses and staff on the third floor at The Highland Health Center and the Masonic Hospice for their loving care and attention.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Man St. to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 3-6 p.m.
